For a couple day in February or March in Brazil people forget about their worries rich or poor.
A lot of people get together and party. Brazilians get together and look forward to carnivals all year round because regular rules do not apply for carnivals,
During festivals they make beautiful masks. All sorts of masks – ones with black and red others purple and white and some are made out of feathers.
One of the traditions in Rio and other cities gives the king Rei Momo a large key.
